The Kentuckiana Blues Society is teaming up with our friends at the National Jug Band Jubilee and raising funds for a headstone for Sara Martin’s grave in Louisville, KY. Martin’s recordings in the 1920s were among the first jug band recordings and featured tons of great musicians. In solidarity, the G Burns Jug Band shot a little video of her ‘Jug Band Blues’ on our front porch. Check out the campaign here.
